RS Photo' Competition 2011 Winners

Photo' Competition This year's photo' competition attracted 28 entries - 11, 7 and 10 in categories A, B and C, respectively - from 9 members representing 5 of the 7 branches. Judging was undertaken on the Friday evening of the Annual Society Meeting. Three volunteer judges, from different branches (SE, SW and N), awarded each photograph a score independently and electronically. A second vote was required to finalise the winner and runner up in 2 of the 3 categories. All members present then voted to select an overall winner from the 3 category winners. Thanks go to all those who entered the competition, the volunteer judges and John Jones for supplying equipment and organising the electronic voting. The results and the wining photo's are given below. Congratulations to the winners and runners up. The winning images and others submitted may be used for the Society's 2012 calendar.
