Subject Information

These gemmy, vitreous, orange bi-pyramids (antimony, calcium) are believed to be romeite. They are often found associated with the green lead antimonite. This specimen was collected from Meadowfoot Smelter slag, Wanlockhead, Dumfries, in May 1995. Alan and Sue Edwards specimen. Field of view is 2mm.
