The Branch evening
meetings programme and the field trip programme for the
forthcoming season.

- Sunday 2 October 2011: Closehouse Mine, Lunedale. Leader Frank Bouweraerts. Meet at [NY 873 211] at 10:30. 5 mile walk altogether. This is the meeting that was postponed earlier this year.
- Saturday 12 November 2011: Visit to the Discovery Museum, Newcastle upon Tyne to see the new home of the mineral collections. Meet in the Museum entrance at 10:30. Numbers limited by space, so you MUST book with Trevor Bridges in advance.
- Tuesday 9th November 2011: Underground in British Mines, Helen Wilkinson.
- Tuesday 6 December 2011: "Mince pies and microscopes". Meet at 19:30 at Ovington. There will be lots of TFB mineral specimens to acquire!
- Tuesday 21 February 2012: Branch AGM followed by a talk on a subject to be decided.
- Tuesday 22 March 2012: A talk on Coldstones Quarry, Pateley Bridge.
