Russell Society Members Photographic Competition 2008.

Here we present the top three photographs, in each category, entered for the 2008 competition. The 47 photographs entered were submitted by members from the Central, Northern, Southern and Wales & West Branches. The judge, Mr Robert Hawkesworth FRPS, commented on the high quality of the entries and provided individual comment on all entries to those present. His selection process included, in addition to the subject matter, assessment of the composition, the sharpness/depth of field and colour balance of the images. Thank you and congratulations to all entrants, especially to those who received awards.

All the winning photographs are published here. Scroll down in each section to view the images. Image size is large so please be patient and allow them to download.
