Subject Information

Green prismatic pyromorphite crystals to 2 mm on blue drusy plumbogummite from the classic Roughton Gill mine on the Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria. Collected in 1947 from the main (90 fathom level) dumps. Specimen in the King Collection of the National Museum of Wales.
