The Russell Society Journal.
Newsletter

Published twice a year (March and September)
the Newsletter reports the activities of the Society and
includes articles on minerals and mineralogical sites,
membership information and branch programme details. The
Newsletter is a very well produced communication link for
Members and the various Branches of the Society to pass on
information to other Members about their area, events and
activities. The Newsletter is printed on high quality paper
with colour photographs.
We have a new Newsletter editor from 2008 as
Mick Cooper has agreed to take over from Jim Robinson. Mick
will only be able to publish the material that he receives.
If you have any any items that you feel would be suitable
for inclusion in the Newsletter: branch or individual
reports (field trips, mineral shows, museum visits, etc),
new information on minerals, locations or the mineral
extraction industries, mineral "gossip", etc; in
fact anything of mineralogical interest. Mick has asked
that new material be sent to his work address:
or by post to: Mr. M. Cooper, Nottingham Museums,
Brewhouse Yard, Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 1FB.
Telephone: 0115 915 3671.
