Image details in title This fluorescent section was originally created with a set of photographs submitted by Gavin Malcolm, Southern Branch. Now Gavin has developed this further to give a complete regional gallery of UK fluorescent minerals and classic worldwide specimens. All minerals are part of his collection. Many of the British specimens have been collected on the Russell Society field trips in the UK. The Gallery has been split into nine sections. The first is an introduction to fluorescence in minerals. This is then followed by a gallery of flourescent minerals from worldwide locations or the UK broken down into the different RS Branch areas. Finally there is a complete list of fluorescent mineral locations and data. Just follow the links below.
