On Sunday 31st
October 2010 the Wales & West Branch, in conjunction
with Cheltenham Mineral & Geological Society and the
British Micromount Society, organised the 4th Maisemore
Mineral social and workshop. With a programme of
presentations, displays, specimen swaps and demonstrations.
Around 50 members attended the event which is becoming more
popular and a regular event in the mineral collectors
calendar. It is being repeated for 2011 - see below.

Minerals at Maisemore
The annual meeting
at Maisemore Village hall, Maisemore, Gloucestershire
will take place on 30th October 2011 from 10:00 until 16:00.
This event will also cover the 25th anniversary of the founding
of the Wales & West branch.
We have speakers and displays covering the topics of 'Silver',
'Fluorescent Minerals' and 'Minerals of Mid-Wales'. A buffet
lunch will be provided so we do need to know the number of people
